April 24, 2013, marked the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh, a tragedy that left over a thousand garment workers dead, most of whom were women and children working under dangerous conditions. The disaster brought some of the questionable business practices associated with fast fashion to light and helped spark our passion for safe working conditions. This critical piece of our business means that we rigorously question and regularly audit our partners to ensure the best factory environments.
